Bambi Studio Dye Transfer Print Signed with Walt Disney Autograph by Disney Legend Bob Moore (Walt Disney, 1941). This is an outstanding Walt Disney studio dye transfer, high quality print of Bambi, Thumper, and Flower, as Bambi learns everyone's name. These high quality prints were given away by the studio for publicity and as gifts, as well as sold at the Art Corner store in Disneyland. This particular print was given as a gift. Presented in the original studio mat with orange script writing on ... morethe mat. The mat has been boldly "signed" by Walt Disney in the lower right corner, with the note "To Mrs. Silva, With Best Wishes - Walt Disney". This is a Walt Disney autograph by Disney Legend Bob Moore. Walt Disney did not personally sign all of his autographs. Every piece of artwork was "signed" on his behalf with a Walt Disney signature, but Walt Disney did not himself provide every signature. Bob Moore, who joined the Walt Disney Studios as an apprentice animator in 1940, provided this signature. Moore contributed to animated classics such as Dumbo, The Three Caballeros, and Make Mine Music. He was named head of the publicity and marketing department and designed Disney movie posters, Christmas cards, logos and letterheads. Most importantly, Moore was one of Disney’s official "autographers", and he signed numerous items (photographs and letters) with Walt Disney’s famous signature. He designed Sam the Eagle for the 1984 Olympic Games and murals housed in Walt Disney Elementary Schools located in Tullytown, Penn., and Anaheim, Calif. To learn more about Bob Moore and his Walt Disney autographs, please visit https://d23.com/walt-disney-legend/bob-moore/ and http://www.go-star.com/antiquing/lori-antiques1012.htm. The frame is 17.5" wide by 16.5" tall with an inner mat opening of approx. 10" wide by 8" tall. The greeting and signature measures 5" wide by 3" tall. Comes with a certificate from Walt Disney Productions describing the piece that is embedded in the back of the frame behind glass. Fine condition.

Introduced in the original Star Wars film in 1977, Leia is princess of the planet Alderaan, a member of the Imperial Senate and an agent of the Rebel Alliance. She thwarts the sinister Sith Lord Darth Vader and helps bring about the destruction of the Empire's cataclysmic weapon, the Death Star. In The Empire Strikes Back (1980), Leia commands a Rebel base and evades Vader as she falls in love with the smuggler Han Solo. In Return of the Jedi (1983), Leia leads the operation to rescue Han from the crime lord Jabba the Hutt, and is revealed to be Vader's daughter and the twin sister of Luke Skywalker. The prequel film Revenge of the Sith (2005) establishes that the twins' mother is Senator (and former queen) Padmé Amidala of Naboo, who dies after childbirth. Leia is adopted by Senator Bail and Queen Breha Organa of Alderaan. In The Force Awakens (2015), Leia is the founder and General of the Resistance against the First Order and has a son with Han named Ben, who now goes by the name Kylo Ren. In the original Star Wars expanded universe (1977–2014) of novels, comics and video games, which are set in an alternate continuity, Leia continues her adventures with Han and Luke after Return of the Jedi, fighting Imperial resurgences and new threats to the galaxy. She becomes the Chief of State of the New Republic and a Jedi Master, and is the mother to three children by Han: Jaina, Jacen and Anakin Solo. One of the more popular Star Wars characters, Leia has been called a 1980s icon, a feminist hero and model for other adventure heroines. She has appeared in many derivative works and merchandising, and has been referenced or parodied in several TV shows and films. Her "cinnamon buns" hairstyle from Star Wars (1977) and metal bikini from Return of the Jedi have become cultural icons.Star Wars From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia This article is about the film series and media franchise. It depicts the adventures of various characters "a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away". The franchise began in 1977 with the release of the film Star Wars (subtitled Episode IV: A New Hope in 1981[2][3]), which became a worldwide pop culture phenomenon. It was followed by the similarly successful sequels The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and Return of the Jedi (1983); these three films constitute the original Star Wars trilogy. A prequel trilogy was later released between 1999 and 2005, which received a more mixed reaction from critics and fans in comparison to the original trilogy. More recently, a sequel trilogy began with the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015). All seven films were nominated for Academy Awards (with Oscar wins going to the first two films) and have all been commercial successes with a combined box office revenue of $6.46 billion,[4] making Star Wars the fourth highest-grossing film series.[5] Additional theatrical films outside of the main saga include the animated Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008) and the live-action film Rogue One (2016), which is the first in a series of anthology films. The series has spawned an extensive media franchise—the Star Wars expanded universe—including books, television series, computer and video games, and comic books, resulting in significant development of the series's fictional universe. Star Wars also holds a Guinness World Records title for the "Most successful film merchandising franchise." In 2015, the total value of the Star Wars franchise was estimated at USD $41.9 billion, including box-office receipts as well as profits from their video games and DVD sales.[6] In 2012, The Walt Disney Company acquired Lucasfilm for $4.06 billion and earned the distribution rights to all subsequent Star Wars films, beginning with the release of The Force Awakens in 2015.[7] The former distributor, 20th Century Fox, retains the physical distribution rights to the first two Star Wars trilogies, owning permanent rights for the original 1977 film and holding the rights to Episodes I–III, V and VI until May 2020.[8][9] Walt Disney Studios owns digital distribution rights to all the Star Wars films, excluding A New Hope.[9][10]Carrie Fisher From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Carrie Fisher Fisher in 2013 Born Carrie Frances Fisher October 21, 1956 Beverly Hills, California, U.S. Died December 27, 2016 (aged 60) Los Angeles, California, U.S. Occupation Actress, writer, producer, humorist Years active 1969–2016 Spouse(s) Paul Simon (m. 1983; div. 1984) Partner(s) Bryan Lourd (1991–1994) Children Billie Lourd Parent(s) Eddie FisherDebbie Reynolds Relatives Todd Fisher (brother)Joely Fisher (half-sister)Tricia Leigh Fisher (half-sister) Carrie Frances Fisher[1] (October 21, 1956 – December 27, 2016) was an American actress, writer, producer, and humorist. She was the daughter of singer Eddie Fisher and actress Debbie Reynolds. Fisher was best known for playing Princess Leia in the Star Wars film series. Her other film roles included Shampoo (1975), The Blues Brothers (1980), Hannah and Her Sisters (1986), The 'Burbs (1989), and When Harry Met Sally... (1989).[2] Fisher was also known for her semi-autobiographical novels, including Postcards from the Edge and the screenplay for the film of the same name, as well as her autobiographical one-woman play and its nonfiction book, Wishful Drinking, based on the show. She additionally served as a script doctor, working on other writers' screenplays.[3] In later years, she earned praise for speaking publicly about her experiences with bipolar disorder and drug addiction.[4] Fisher died at the age of 60 on December 27, 2016, four days after going into cardiac arrest near the end of a transatlantic flight from London to Los Angeles. Grapefruit Moon Gallery is excited to announce that we have come into an impressive collection of autographs, letters, original illustrations, and ephemera by a wide array of cartoonists and illustrators. From the personal collection of Earl Barton, an avid collector who spent decades building a unique collection of individualized drawings and correspondence from leading lights in cartooning. Nicknamed the "most original pest" by cartoonist A.V. Buel, Barton amassed much of his collection by sending letters of requests for autographs & original illustrations straight to the artists themselves. To make sure his letters made it past secretaries and avoided going straight into the waste basket, Barton would draw a cartoon of his own on the envelope accompanied by a caption, thinking that "what isn't hard to request isn't hard to give." This method proved successful and Barton had autographs and original illustrations from such artists as D. Jay Darling, George T. Maxwell and John T. McCutcheon of the Chicago Tribune as well as James Montgomery Flagg, Norman Rockwell, Arthur William Brown, Edwina Dunn, and Walt Disney, to name just a few. We will be auctioning off these illustrations, letters, autographs, newspapers clippings and photos in the coming weeks and months. It's a unique chance for collectors of illustration art to own these one of a kind items! ITEM: This is a 1935 vintage & original envelope hand-signed by American illustration art great Howard Chandler Christy. A strange and unexpected part of Barton's collection, it is fascinating to wonder just what was in the letter Christy sent to Barton. The picture of Christy on the front is from a newspaper clipping glued to the envelope, likely by Barton. Included is part of a newspaper obituary clipping announcing Christy's death in 1952. Envelope measures 3 5/8" x 6 1/2" CONDITION: Near-fine condition with minor handling wear and age-appropriate toning. Please use our included images as a conditional guide. Guaranteed to be 100% vintage and original from Grapefruit Moon Gallery. **************Howard Chandler Christy (January 10, 1872 – March 3, 1952) was an American artist and illustrator, famous for the "Christy Girl" – a colorful and illustrious successor to the "Gibson Girl" – who became the most popular portrait painter of the Jazz Age era. Christy painted such luminaries as Lt. Col. Theodore Roosevelt, and Presidents Warren G. Harding, Calvin Coolidge, Herbert Hoover, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and Harry Truman. Other famous people he painted include William Randolph Hearst, the Prince of Wales (Edward the VIII), Eddie Rickenbacker, Benito Mussolini, Prince Umberto and Amelia Earhart. From the 1920s until the 1940s, Christy was well known for capturing the likenesses of congressmen, senators, industrialists, movies stars, and socialites. Biography: Wikipedia *********************

An interesting piece of Disneyana. This was once gifted by Walt Disney to other family members long ago, it was plain then on the topside, later, a friend of a disney family member hand painted the top with a holiday scene and gifted it to the family member, though according to the note she forgot it at the time she planned to gift it but eventually it made its way back to the family member it was intended for.

ITEM: You are bidding on a hand signed and 100% guaranteed authentic and dating to 1939- 1940(so very early) Walt Disney autograph displayed with a framed and matted behind glass original C. 1941 Hormel Calendar print also by Walt Disney. This was sent by Walt Disney to a young collector named Emily Pratt Hall- a crisp signature on a card stock paper. Framed with an action packed lithograph featuring Mickey Mouse leading the ... moreband of all his old pals! From Daffy Duck. To Goofy, this image has it all. A fantastic example housed in a handsome gold finished wood frame. We think this is a sensational presentation. Last year about this time- Grapefruit Moon Gallery acquired an important collection of pen& ink original illustration art comic drawings from many of the leading Golden Age of Illustration comic strip illustrators that were received by a persistent young girl named Emma Pratt Hall who lived in Mansfield Mass. She wrote many fan letters requesting doodles from her favorite comic artists of the era. Nearly one hundred artists honored her requests. These are all from the years of 1939- 1940 and many have letters that accompany the drawings. It really is amazing the response she received this collection is outstanding. I would guess she was a persuasive letter writer and by the personalized content of many of the letters she was likely a young girl. Her comic art collection gained her some recognition as she received a press newspaper menti
Offered today is an original Walt Disney signature on a 1959 souvenir magazine foldout of Sleeping Beauty's Briar Rose and Prince Phillip and the Mock Prince in the beautiful Eyvind Earle forest from Sleeping Beauty. 1959. The entire foldout measures 30 1/2 inches wide by 11 inches high unfolded. Walt's autograph in pen measures about 4 inches wide and is on the third page as shown. Also shown are the images of the reverse side pages of the foldout. Normal wear from handling and in otherwise fine+ condition. Ready for framing. Good luck winning this rare and beautiful treasure. Please see my other items. Will combine shipping.
You are bidding on an original and authentic Walter Disney autograph on paper. The autograph was signed in blue ink( looking like bold pen or fountain pen) I purchased this piece along with many other autographs in the past 15 years of autograph collecting. I finally decided to sell some of them on eBay. So I am new here. But there is always a start for anyone anywhere. The autograph was always framed from what i know. So i kept it framed too when i purchased it. It was kept away from smoke and sun or strong light. I can supply the frame with it. But i strongly disagree as the glass could break during shipping and damage the paper. It is a simple frame anyways. The paper size is 13cm x 6cm and the autograph is clearly visible as you can see on the picture. If you would like additional pictures to be emailed to you. Please contact me. Feel free to ask any questions. I will ship priority for FREE with BUY-IT-NOW. I ship worlwide. I will run this auction with NO RESERVE to keep a nice"bidding ... morewar" on this rare and fine piece. The item is really priced to sell with a very good BUY-IT-NOW price. Walt Disney autographs are really wanted and rare. Prices generally go over 1000$us for autographs on papers. Here is a chance to get a price of history for a really good price. I will ship the same or the next day after payment is made through Paypal. Please note that i reserve the right to end the auction earlier for any reasons. Again. Feel free to send me your questions and will answer as soon as possible. Good luck and happy bidding!

I saved the best for last. I listed all the awesome items I got at a collectors estate sale. It was by far the best estate sale I've been to and seen. When I seen the Walt Disney signature I was amazed. The only one I have ever seen. The couple sold it to me. They said they purchased the Walt Disney autograph in 1952. They had it framed alone until 2001 they got it custom matted and framed with a photo of Walt Disney. The signature is cut from off white paper or faded paper. The signature is signed in green and is beautiful. There is no coa. I will accept a return within 7 if your not satisfied. Check out the other awesome items I listed that I got at the couples estate sale. They collected Disney items.Autographs, sports memorabilia. Awesome day. Shipping is free. PayPal only please. On the 10th of March we will put this back up to $2295. So if you happened upon this now, you can take advantage of this three day $300 off SALE. GOOD LUCK, It will go fast. WALT DISNEY HAND SIGNED CHECK. AUTHENTIC. Bank of America signed Walter E. Disney check. Dated 1947 and made out to"Walt Disney Special Acct" for $300. Endorsed for deposit in Walt Disney's special account. Basically spending money for Walt for the week. Quite a number of these checks turned up about a decade ago from a retiring Retlaw employee. And I was fortunate to purchase this check(along with numerous autograph dealers- of which you can see them offered on Ebay now starting at $2350 and running upwards of $4200(every so often one of the more famous autograph dealer's puts a framed one up at $4995. and even sold one! In the past ... morethey have sold as high as $4800(back at the Sid Cuhenga Shop at the Disney MGM Studio. and they have gone for quite a bit more in High Profile Disney auctions- for awhile there was seemingly no shortage of them, but over the last few years they have gotten scarce and harder to find, plus prices have gone up) Gorgeous signature done in black ink. Mostly likely with a fountain pen(has a touch of fading, but not noticeable unless held next to another one-very minor, and typical for age and all that I have seen) Autograph collectors and dealers consider checks the best forms of collecting signatures because of the required authenticity(if the signature was not who it says, the bank would have returned the check) Moreover, the check comes with all the appropriate bank stamps(including the whole punched"PAID $+5 21 47" so was paid out on 5/21/47, the day the check was written. Features full name of Walter E Disney and the 2400 Alameda address of the Studio. Check is perforated at the bottom and left hand side. Features a very

The night proved to be a colossal success. Box office receipts from the film shocked the entire industry; making"Snow White" the most successful motion picture of its day. The success thrust the Walt Disney Studio into a new stratosphere and suddenly Walt Disney and his films were in demand as never before. Rare Bank of America National Trust and savings statement from January 31. 1961 with the original hand signed autographs of Roy O Disney, Edna F Disney, Lillian B Disney, Diane Disney Miller, and Sharon Disney Brown. Roy Disney was Walt Disney's older brother; Roy and Walt both founded Disney Studios. Anything autographed by Walt Disney is rare, but his family's autographs, especially Roy's and Lillian's are very hard to find and valuable. The other autographs are of Walts wife Lillian Disney, Roy's Wife Edna Disney, and Walt's daughters Diane Disney and Sharon Disney. The autographs are in great condition, Roy's, Edna's and Lillian's autographs are darker than Diane and Sharons. The document is in good condition. It is a thin parchment type of paper. Wonderful piece of Disneyland History. Great signatures on a very rare document. I wonder if this document had a connection to the building of Walt Disney World in Florida and the purchase of Florida land. ... moreJust a thought. Walt never signed this document, although there is a space for his signature, with his name typed out. Really remarkable paper.

Walt Disney Photo Fantasia Premiere at the L'Empire Theater Autograph Signature You are bidding on what appears to be a photographic card advertising the showing of Walt Disney's Fantasia in France at the L'Empire Theatre. The Empire Theatre was a theater in Paris located at 41. Avenue de Wagram. I believe this was meant to happen in 1940 but the invasion of France by Germany forced them to cancel the European arm of the movie's tour. There is a signature on the card in ink of Walt Disney. I have no documentation attesting that it is genuine. I will leave it to the Disney experts who view this auction. The back of the card does have a pre-printed signature. I purchased this card with a group of miscellaneous cards and letters from the 1930's to the 1950's. This was in a storage locker with many other items. In the photograph Walt Disney is holding a musical score of Fantasia. Item is in good condition. Happy Bidding! Payment due within 24 hours after the auction ... moreends.
